THERMAL PATAGONIA

THERMAL PATAGONIA

With more than 4,000 km of Andes Mountains, Chile has hot springs in all its extension, allowing one to enjoy the healing properties of its waters in the middle of the arid Atacama Desert or among the lush vegetation of Patagonia.

Of the 275 hot springs identified by SERNAGEOMIN, little more than 80 have some type of tourist activity that includes luxury establishments to a semi-natural state. The great majority of them are located in the Thermal Patagonia, an area located in the mountainous zone of the Araucania, Rios and Los Lagos regions.

The Thermal Patagonia gathers 51 hot spring centers along 400 kilometers, forming the largest thermal concentration in South America and one of the largest in the world. The territory forms part of the National Parks, Lakes and Volcanoes Scenic Route, which is structured around a wide variety of natural attractions made up of 23 Protected Wild Areas comprising over 1 million hectares, 17 active volcanoes, 22 lakes and 26 rivers.

The high concentration of hot springs allows you to enjoy varied experiences such as relaxation and SPA therapies to outdoor activities such as trekking, horseback riding and canopy. There are thermal baths that invite you to rest and others that are directed towards families with young children.

We invite you to enjoy the NATURAL WELL-BEING offered by the mountain springs in a natural destination of stunning scenic beauty and wide variety of unforgettable experiences.
